Last night we hit up The Liberty Tap Room in Mt. Pleasant. This is one of our go to places for great craft beer selection and great happy hour deals. Liberty Tap Room is loaded with 35 taps of deliciousness. Six of the taps are Liberty Brews and a few are beers like Blue Moon and Stella Artois. The majority though are delicious craft beers! On this night, here are some of the beers they had on tap: Chimay Triple, Stone IPA, Dogfish Head 90 Minute, Widmer Hefeweizen, Widmer Deadlift Imperial IPA, Oskar Blue's Yella Pils, Dale's Pale Ale, Holy City Pilsner, Westbrook White Thai, Avery Joe's Pilsner, RJ Rockers First Snow, Sweetwater 420, Rogue John John, New Belgium Prickly Saison, Liberty Dark Star Porter, Liberty Red Ale, Liberty Nut Brown, Liberty Lager, and Liberty IPA. Overall I was quite happy with the selection.
As stated earlier in the post, LTR has great happy hour deals. The best part is they now have their happy hour deals every day! That's right, even on the weekends. I wish more places would go that route. The deals are good from 4-7pm. Highlights of the happy hour menu are: $2.50 Liberty Brews, $5 Martinis, and $3 House Wine and Liquor Drinks. They also have 9 appetizers for $5. We always go for the nachos. You get a ton, they are loaded, and they also have chicken in them. The cheese that lurks at the bottom of the nachos is fan-freakin-tastic! Trust me! Get them and you'll see what I am talking about. In addition to the nachos, we also got the double fried buffalo wings and the mozzarella sticks. Both were really good! Especially for the price! So we got three appetizers, and I got two Liberty Brews (Porter and IPA), and we spent about $21 plus tip. Not bad for 32 oz's of beer and a belly full of good food. In previous visits, the wifey and I have just shared the nachos and left full. On this day, we decided to gorge ourselves and go all out and get three appetizers. This is one of our go to places for happy hour deals, and I definitely would recommend it to others.
