January 18th-Craft Beer Events Calendar!


Craft Beer Events

January 19th
Bottles in Mt. Pleasant will have a Stone Brewery Tap Takeover of their growler station starting at 4:30pm and ending at 7:30pm.  Here's what's on tap: Arrogant Bastard Ale, Stone IPA, Ruination IPA, Vertical Epic, Smoked Porter & Sublimely Self-Righteous Ale.

January 19th
Mellow Mushroom in Mt. Pleasant will have a "Steal the Pint Night" featuring Sam Adams Alpine Spring.  Buy a pint of it and keep the pint.  4pm to close. 

January 19th
Holy City Brewing and Laura Alberts in Daniel Island will hold a Beer Dinner.  Event will take place at Laura Alberts and there will be 5 different beers and 4 courses.  Reception begins at 7pm and dinner at 7:30pm.  Cost is $45 per person.  Call (843) 881-4711 for reservations.   See menu below.

January 20th
Closed For Business will have a Stone Rare Beer Pint Night from 6-9pm.   They will have $4 pints of
Stone Pale Ale, Stone India Pale Ale, and Stone Levitation.  There will be $5.50 pints of More Brown Than Black, a collaboration beer from Stone, Ninkasi, and The Alchemist.  This 7.4% clear brown IPA has wonderful grassy and citrus aromas that tie in well to fruit notes coming from the hops and wonderful caramel malts!  This beer is rare!!! Scott Sheridan from Stone will also be in attendance!

January 21st
The 5th Annual Asheville Winter Warmer Beer Festival will take place at the Asheville Civic Center from 3-7pm.  Tickets are $39 for regular admission and $55 for VIP.  Get tickets here

House of Brews will be tapping a rare 9 gallon cask of Coast Brewing's 2012 Blackbeerd Imperial Stout.  The cask will be tapped at 5pm.  There will be live music by 17 South as well as food from Roti Rolls Food Truck.

January 26th
Ted's Butcher Block will have a New Year's Resolutions Craft Beer Dinner.  "Chef Eva promises an eclectic four course menu to pair with selections from Scott Shore of the Charleston Beer Exchange."  Stay tuned for menu details.  Price is $48.  Call (843) 577-0094 for reservations.  

January 28th 
The World Beer Festival will be held in Columbia at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.  There will be two sessions.  An afternoon session from 12-4pm and an evening session from 6-10pm.  Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 day of the event (if not sold out).  VIP tickets are available for $85.   Tickets can be bought most Piggly Wiggly stores as well as here.

January 31st
Closed For Business will welcome Fullsteam Brewery from Durham, North Carolina for a "Launch Dinner" from 6-9pm.  Some beers that will be available are:  Fullsteam Lager, Chatham County Paw Paw, First Frost, Hogwash, BA Working Man's Lunch, and Super Secret 6th!  They will list ticket price in the next couple of days. Seating is very limited.

February 25th
Charleston Brewvival will be held on the field across from Coast Brewing.  Event is from 12-6pm.  Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at the Charleston Beer Exchange and Coast Brewing.  Tickets can also be purchased online here.  This is an awesome beer festival!
