January 26th
Bottles in Mt. Pleasant will have a Sweetwater Brewing Tap Takeover of their growler station starting at 4:20pm and ending at 7:30pm. Here's what's on tap: Festive ale, Happy Ending, IPA and 420 extra pale ale.
January 26th
Ted's Butcher Block will have a New Year's Resolutions Craft Beer Dinner. "Chef Eva promises an eclectic four course menu to pair with selections from Scott Shore of the Charleston Beer Exchange." Stay tuned for menu details. Price is $48. Call (843) 577-0094 for reservations.
Charleston Beer Exchange will hold a special event from 5-7pm with Thomas Creek Brewery out of Greenville, SC! They'll have some of their signature beers on the growler station along with some swag to giveaway with purchases but the real highlight of this event will be the highly limited Banana Split Stout available in 750ml bottles! All beers will be available for tasting absolutely free!
January 28th
The World Beer Festival will be held in Columbia at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. There will be two sessions. An afternoon session from 12-4pm and an evening session from 6-10pm. Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 day of the event (if not sold out). VIP tickets are available for $85. Tickets can be bought most Piggly Wiggly stores as well as here.
Closed For Business will welcome Fullsteam Brewery from Durham, North Carolina for a "Launch Dinner" from 6-9pm. Some beers that will be available are: Fullsteam Lager, Chatham County Paw Paw, First Frost, Hogwash, BA Working Man's Lunch, and Super Secret 6th! They will list ticket price in the next couple of days. Seating is very limited.
February 25th
Charleston Brewvival will be held on the field across from Coast Brewing. Event is from 12-6pm. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at the Charleston Beer Exchange and Coast Brewing. Tickets can also be purchased online here. This is an awesome beer festival!
