Charleston Area Homebrew Shop....Finally!

In case you haven't heard, a homebrew store will be opening next week in Mt. Pleasant.  Yeast- Everything Homebrew will open it's doors next Saturday, February 1st in the Belle Hall area of Mt. Pleasant.  The exact location is 557 Belle Station Boulevard in Mt. Pleasant.  The store will be open six days a week, and its hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 11am-7pm, Saturday 10am-5pm, and Sunday noon-5pm. They will be closed on Wednesdays.

Yeast-Everything Homebrew is owned by Peter Kinslow, at Mt. Pleasant resident.  He homebrewed for years before he moved to the area.  When he moved here, he stopped brewing due to the lack of local homebrewing resources.  Her recently renewed his love for homebrewing, and feels it's about time we have a dedicated homebrew store in our area.  I couldn't agree more!

"The shop will offer brewing equipment, supplies, kits, ingredients that include a selection of fresh malts, grains, hops and yeast, provide support through demonstrations and advice for novices seeking to start in the craft."  He will have a library where patrons will be able to peruse through his personal collection of homebrewing books.  Once the store gets up and running, the store will hold special events such as classes on how to brew your own.

I am definitely excited to have a homebrew shop within 10 minutes of my house, and will definitely be a regular customer.  Check out the website www.yeasthomebrew.com or follow on Twitter at www.twitter.com/yeasthomebrew.  Oh and try to come out to the Grand Opening next Saturday, February 1st and show your support!  I will definitely be there!

Cheers!
