July 16th- Craft Beer Events Calendar!




Craft Beer Events 

Tastings:
Holy City Brewing: Monday and Tuesday 4pm-6pm, Wednesday-Friday 4pm-7pm, and Saturday from 12-4pm.  
Coast Brewing: Thursday from 4pm-7pm and Saturday from 11am-2pm.
Westbrook Brewing: Thursday and Friday from 4pm-7pm and Saturday from 12pm-4pm.
Total Wine & More: Every Thursday from 3pm-7pm.  Sample up to eight craft beers for free.
Bottles: Tap Takeovers every Thursday from 4:30pm-7:30pm.  

July 16th
Sesame Burger in West Ashley (Citadel Mall) will host Widmer Brothers Brewing for a Beer Dinner.  More details to come.  

July 16th
17 North Roadside Kitchen will have a 6 course Left Hand Brewing Company Beer Dinner, featuring some Latin themed courses.  Starts at 7pm.  Call (843) 606-2144 for ticket info.

July 18th 
The next Coleman Craft Cruise will feature local brews from Palmetto, Westbrook and Holy City!  Hop on the "Cruise" anytime between 7 and 10pm at any of the participating locations (House of Brews, Red Drum, Coleman Public House, Finz, and Triangle. 

July 18th
Laura Alberts will host Dogfish Head for their Growler Hour.  On tap will be Red & White, Black & Blue, Positive Contact, and Festina Peche.  There will be special appetizer pairings and live music by guitarist Christopher Teves.  Growler Hour starts at 5pm. 

July 18th
Sesame Burgers and Beer in Mt. Pleasant will team up with Stone Brewing for a 5 Course Beer Dinner.  The event is $50 a person and starts at 6pm.  Event is limited to 30 seats.  Call (843) 884-5553 for tickets.  Check out the menu:

July 20th
Roadtrip Anyone? Brews-A-Palooza will be held in Myrtle Beach on The Deck at The House of Blues from 7pm-11:30m.  Over 50 craft beers will be available.  Happy Hour specials all night.  Live music.  $5 Admission, includes the tasting glass and a free buffet from 5pm-6pm.  Tickets for beer tastings will be $1 each, with different beers costing different number of tickets.   Beer lineup will include: Founders Devil Dancer, Founders Frangelic Mountain Brown, New Belgium La Folie, Terrapin Easy Rider, He'Brew Funky Jewbilation, and Jolly Pumpkin La Roja.

July 21st
Holy City Brewing turns 1 year old!  To celebrate they will have a much bigger version of their Carnival Night, from 4pm-10pm.  Taken from their Facebook: "Live music from Rustic Remedy and The Bluestone Ramblers.  Food from Hello My Name is BBQ, Autobahn, Brasili, and HoM.  Sweets from Sweeteeth Chocolate and King of Pops. Entertainment from Carivalesque. Games including a keg toss, grain sack races, and ring toss. $3 pints of HCB beers outside and tasting room open inside with all the first beers we brewed when we opened on tap! Kid and pet friendly! July 22nd
The Craftsmen Kitchen & Tap House is teaming up with Guerrilla Cuisine, to celebrate it's 100th dinner.  Executive Chef Todd Garrigan will pair food courses with different beers from Westbrook Brewing.  In addition, it is also BYOB, so feel free to grab that special bottle you've been saving.  Tickets are $75 and cab be purchased here.  As with all Guerrilla Cuisine Dinners, the location will be revealed to ticket holders a couple of days before the event.  

August 18th
The Charleston Pub Crawl will start at 1pm and end at 9pm.  Check in is at Marion's on East Bay Street. 
Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 day of, which gets you two complimentary Sweetwater draft beers,  $2 Sweetwater draft beers at all Pub Crawl venues, $3 Red Bull and vodkas, Pub Crawl t-shirt, live music, discount to the Ballpark Festival of Beers, swag from Sweetwater and other sponsors.  Participating venues are TBonz, Pearlz, Mellow Mushroom, The Brick, Wasabi, Yo Burrito, and Southend Brewery & Smokehouse.  Get your ticket here

August 25th
The Ballpark Festival of Beers will be held from 6-10pm.  "Sample over 100 American & International Ales, Stouts, Lagers, Pilsners & Specialty Brews!" Cost is $25 at any Piggly Wiggly or $30 at RileyParkEvents.com or the Riverdogs Box Office.
