Thirsty Dog Brewing Company Siberian Night Imperial Stout Beer Review

Taken from their website:

"Each of our beers is meticulously hand crafted in small batches using the finest ingredients. High quality malted barley is the source of the beer's sweetness and body. Select American and European hops are used to balance the malt sweetness, and at times to add special flavors and aromas to the beer.  Our carefully selected ingredients, along with our specially designed recipes and brewing processes, give Thirsty Dog beers unique flavor profiles that are hard to find in today's mass-market "one size fits all" society."

The Thirsty Dog Brewing Company portfolio is too big to list here.  Click here to see it!

Siberian Night Imperial Stout is listed at 9.7 ABV and 58 IBU's.

Tasting Notes

Appearance:  Pitch black with creamy tan head.  Head dissipated quickly to a thin layer.

Aroma:  Strong malt aroma.  Picking up coffee, chocolate and dark fruit.  Hop aroma is low.  Aroma is real nice.

Taste:  Very malty with medium bitterness.  Many flavors here.  Tasting coffee, chocolate and a light toastiness.  Taste is sweet at the end.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied, creamy texture, and carbed low.

Overall:  Pretty drinkable for a 9.7abv beer.  Lots of flavor!  Would get this one again.

Grade: B+
