Saturday's Craft Beer Events

Looking for some quality craft beer today?  Check out what's going on today:

Saturday, May 21st

Coast Brewing will be tapping one of my all time favorites (their Boy King Double IPA -9.2% alcohol) as well as welling Old Nuptial Barleywine (aged in bourbon barrels for about 18 months) in 22 oz. bottles in celebration of American Craft Beer Week.  There will be local food trucks, a band and tours of the brewery.  The event will last from 11am-3pm.

Westbrook Brewing will be tapping another cask this afternoon.  They will have their IPA dry hopped with 3 different hops (Centennial, Cascade, and Amarillo) on Cask.  Their thursday's IPA, dry-hopped with Falconer's Flight hops was fantastic.  I expect this one to be just as good, if not better!  In addition, they usually feature 4 or 5 additional beers for you to sample or take home in you growler.  The tasting room will be open for tastings and tours from 12-4pm.

Feel like taking a road trip?

Top of the Hops Beer Festival will be held in Greenville, SC.  Tickets are $40 for regular admission and $60 for VIP.  Unlimited tastings and quality breweries are attending.   Event is from 2pm-6pm.

Cheers!
