I just heard that Jack's Cosmic Dogs will be closing it's location on Folly Road in James Island. At first read, I thought "this sucks!" Then I kept reading, and saw that the owners are closing the hot dog joint so they can open a craft beer joint in the same location! "This sucks" quickly turned into "kick @$$!" Their new venture will be called Bohemian Bull Tavern and Beer Garden. The owners are expecting to open sometime this fall. Their website provides a few hints at what we can expect, such as "hand-spanked burgers," "meaty wings," "hearty pub grub", "whiskey bar", "lawn games", "live music", and drum roll please........ "over 100 drafts, crafts, bottles & cans!" Music to my ears! Sounds like this is gonna be another great establishment us craft beer lovers can flock to. In addition, be on the lookout for these other establishments to be opening soon: Edmund's Oast, Carolina Ale House, and Bay Street Biergarten.
Any new craft beer related establishments that I forgot to mention?
