Craft Beer Events
November 19th
Gridiron Beerfest and Tailgate Party at Johnson Hagood Stadium at the Citadel. 40+ craft beers to sample and food available to purchase. Live music. Tailgate on the field while watching on the jumbotron the Citadel/USC game. 2nd game is Clemson/NC State Event is from 11:00am to 7:00pm. $25 in advance, $30 at the gate.
November 23rd
Social Wine Bar and Holy City Brewing will team up for a pre-Thanksgiving 4 course beer dinner. Tickets are $55 each. The dinner starts with a Tanglewood Pheasant breast and roasted onions, served with Holy City Pilsner. The first-course is grilled rabbit sausage with braised white cabbage, bacon, mustard and potatoes, served with Holy City Pluff Mud Porter. The main-course is a delicious venison and mushroom ‘pot-pie’ cooked with mushrooms, red wine and roasted parsnips in brown butter. The main-course is served with Holy City Oyster Stout. The final dessert-course is a Bosc pear caramel tart with a pecan shell smoked crème Anglaise, served with Holy City Pecan Stout. To RSVP, email info@socialwinebar.com or call 843-577-5665.
