September 14th-Upcoming Craft Beer Events!


Upcoming Craft Beer Events

September 17th
House of Brews will have an Oktoberfest celebration starting at 2pm.  "Taste all things Oktober from our multiple drinking stations out back to some delicious Brats and Sausages courtesy of the Tasi Food Truck!  Live music will set the mood and beers and brats will showcase Oktoberfest, Low Country-style!!"

September 17th
The Holy City Brewing Food Truck Rodeo will take place at Holy City Brewing from 3pm-9pm.   Music, food trucks, and lots of Holy City Beer.  
September 23rd-25th
Closed For Business Oktoberfest Party.  Live music, and house made sausages and pretzels.  $5 cover or free if you dress in traditional costume.  There will be a festival ten on the corner lot at King St. and Radcliffe St. 

September 24th
The Ballpark Festival of Beers will take place at Joseph P. Riley, Jr.  Park (home of the Riverdogs) in downtown Charleston.  Over 100 different varieties of brew will be available to quench the taste buds of every die-hard beer enthusiast.  This is a 21 and over event.  Advanced tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the River Dogs box office or on online here.  Price is $30 the day of the event.   Time of the event is 7-10pm.  Early birds will be rewarded, as the first 1,000 people through the gates receive a commemorative sampling glass. 
  
September 30th
Total Wine and More in West Ashley will host "Beerrelevance: A Taste History Lesson Beer Class.  Cost is $15 per person, and is from 6:30pm-8:30pm.  Each Beer Class Includes: Expert instruction by a Total Wine & More beer professional, special selections to sample, tasting sheets, beer and wine discount coupons and more!  Call (843) 763-7034 to reserve your spot.

October 1st
Join Wine Awhile and Vino Burgerz at 4pm for an Oktoberfest celebration.  They will feature Oktoberfest beers, wine tasting, specialty burgers, live music, and much more. 

October 2nd
Charleston Beer Exchange and the Hominy Grill will partner up for the Charleston Breweries "Not Just for Vegetarians" Beer Dinner.  They will showcase all four of Charleston's Breweries (Palmetto, Coast, Westbrook, and Holy City).  Brewers/owners from each will be on hand to discuss their beers and share the evening with attendees.  Chef Robert Stehling has put together six delicious courses and there will be  two beers per course from the four breweries for what will be a truly remarkable evening!  Official menu beer pairings will be posted soon.  Please contact Hominy Grill at (843) 937-0930 to make reservations – this one is sure to sell out fast, so call now to save your seats! 

October 2nd
The eighth annual Charleston Oktoberfest will return to Blackbaud Stadium on Sunday, October 2 from 12pm to 5 PM. This year’s headline Oompah band is the Roger Gootman Sauerkraut Band; in addition to live Oompah music there will be authentic German dancers, a wide selection of German beers and a variety of delicious Oktoberfest food options. The first 1000 festival attendees will receive a free commemorative beer stein.  Tickets are only $5 in advance ($7 day of event) and can be purchased at the Blackbaud Stadium box office or by calling (843) 971-4625. 

October 3rd
Evo Pizzeria will host a Coast Brewing Beer Dinner.  Stay tuned for more details.

October 8th
Charlotte Oktoberfest at the Metrolina Expo in Charlotte, NC.  Tickets are $35 for general admission and $50 for premium admission.  Current list of breweries attending here.

October 15th and 16th
Oktoberfest at Gene's Haufbrau.  Two days of music, food and fun!  Stay tuned!

October 21st
