Last weekend, the
Low Country Libations met for our monthly homebrewing meeting at
Laura Alberts on Daniel Island. The meeting was well-attended, and a ton of quality homebrew was sampled. The meeting began with a
award winning tasty Kolsch (I'm not just saying it was tasty because I brewed it...honestly), and ended with a high octane Imperial Stout. In between, we tasted Saisons, an Amber ale, Brown Ale's, IPA's, Double IPA's, a Belgian Speciality beer that had been aged since like 2008 or 2009, and quite a few other delicious beers. Someone in the homebrew club definitely has some patience, holding on to that Belgian Specialty beer for about five years. Wish I had that kind of discipline. All in all, it was an awesome meeting. This club certainly has a lot of talent!
